Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum

The Mausoleum is where the first President of Ghana Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and his wife Fathia Nkrumah`s mortal remains is being kept. Black Star Square

Black Star Square, also known as Independence Square, is a major and important public square, located in the heart of the capital city of the Republic of Ghana, Accra. it contains of monuments of Ghana's independence struggle, including the Independence Arch, Black Star Gate, and the Liberation Day Monument as well as the Memorial of the Unknown Soldier that faces the Independence Arch symbolizing the Ghanaian heroes who lost their lives fighting for Ghana’s independence

 It was commissioned by the then first prime minister and president of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah, to honor the visit of Queen Elizabeth II. It was constructed to be used for all major national public gatherings and national festivals, and the most important event which is the parade for Ghana’s Independence Day.

National Museum of Ghana

The National Museum of Ghana is in the capital of Accra specifically located at 2 Barnes Road in Central Accra. It is the biggest and oldest among all the other museums under the administration of the Ghana Museums and Monuments Board. The museum building was commissioned on 5 March 1957 as part of Ghana's independence celebrations during the Nkrumah regime.

The museum houses a collection of archaeological, ethnographic, and fine art objects. Some of the objects in the museum include indigenous Ghanaian musical instruments, beads, traditional textiles, furniture, pottery, and ceremonial masks from a variety of African countries. Osu Castle

it is a 17th-century castle found on the shores of the great township of Osu, in Ghana’s capital Accra and was initially referred to as the Fort Christiansborg or the Castle. The first substantial fort was built by the Danes and has changed hands between. Christiansborg Castle is also unique among the castles and forts built by the then Danes and later took over by Denmark, Norway, Portugal, the Akwamu, Britain, and finally post-Independence Ghana, and was rebuilt numerous times, it was the seat of government in Ghana with some interruptions until the seat of government was moved to the Jubilee House.

Legon Botanical Gardens Ghana.

Legon Botanical Gardens is found in the heart of Accra in the University of Ghana. It is owned by the University of Ghana and managed by both the Department of Botany and Mulch Company Ltd. The Legon Botanical Gardens is a beautiful, special outdoor interactive venue for all ages where nature and fun collide.

Centre for National Culture

(Centre For National Culture is a place full of "Ghanaian" creativity and artefacts exhibiting a lot of local handicrafts, such as local textile works, jewellery, pottery, woodworks, glasswares, stoneware, and other metal handicrafts are of great value. Among these are also, pottery production, wax dyeing, and Kente cloth weaving, galleries and craft shops. This is great place for arts and crafts shopping. The market is organized by sections where you can find anything from clothing, jewellery to fabrics, wooden craft and painting.

Achimota Forest

Achimota Forest is a forest Reserve in Achimota in the Okaikwei North Municipality with the particular specific location at Achimota College Rd, Accra] It is one of the green facilities in Accra assisting with control of carbon emissions.

This Forest Reserve was built to create a green buffer between the Accra City and the Achimota School. Most of the animals from the Accra Zoo were moved to the forest reserve when the Presidential Palace was built.. It hosts animals such as pythons, a camel, ostriches, hyenas, monkeys and many others 

This forest reserve found in the heart of the city and recently has been turned into place for prayer camps, camping and walking for interdenominations.

W.E.B Du Bois Memorial Centre for Panafrican Culture - Ghana.

W. E. B. Du Bois Memorial Centre for Pan-African Culture is the former abode and final resting place of American-born socialist, author, and civil rights activist, William Edward Burghardt Du Bois, who became a citizen of Ghana in his later years by the invitation of the then government Nkrumah. W. E. B. Du Bois campaigned for African-American rights and was often referred to as the ‘Father of Pan-Africanism’ Cantonments, Accra. It was commissioned and generally opened to the public in 1985 and named to dedicate and honour the late W. E. B. Du Bois, an African-American historian and pan-Africanist who became a citizen of Ghana in the early 1960s.That is where he lived his last few years of stay in Ghana at the invitation of President Kwame Nkrumah,

The Centre is a complex of place 4 different major buildings which include the home where W.B.E. DuBois spent his last few years, an administrative building, and the tomb of W.E.B. DuBois and his lovely wife Shirley Graham DuBois was laid to rest.

It also contains Dr. DuBois' Personal library and a collection of works related to W.E.B DuBois

Labadi Beach

Labadi Beach is officially known as “La Pleasure Beach” is the busiest beach on Ghana's coast which is a scenic stretch of sand situated in Labadi. It is one of biggest Accra's beaches and is maintained by the surrounding hotels like La Palm Royal Beach Hotel and the Labadi Beach Hotel etc. It is the most popular beach in Ghana, with a spacious shoreline lined with many coconut trees and plenty of activities to offer. Artists Alliance Gallery

Artists Alliance Gallery is one of the most famous and biggest art gallery in Sub-Saharan Africa and ghana.It is  Ghana's largest art gallery with contemporary Ghanaian art and traditional Ghanaian art.

It was established by the greatly respected Ghanaian artist Ablade Glover and has become one of the most important of its kind in Ghana. There are three expensive floors of art displayed in cool marble galleries. There are also collectors’ pieces like Asafo flags with appliquéd and embroidered symbols like ancient strip-woven Kente cloths by the Akan and Ewe. There are also African masks; and uniquely carved furniture. Also displayed are full-sized coffins in the shapes of crabs, running shoes and eagles. However, everything is for sale.

Accra Zoo

Accra zoo is one of the greatest zoos in Ghana that contribute to wildlife experience. The Accra Zoo continues to attract thousands of visitors, of which majority are students from various grade levels. It has served as a tourist attraction and an educative site thousands of Ghanaians and foreign nationals of the tropical creatures in Ghana. Somewhere deep within the Achimota forest is where the Accra Zoo can be found which is relatively closer to the Achimota School.

To reach the place, you must find the main entrance, which is located right across from the Achimota Branch of the Forestry Commission, in order to enter the Achimota Zoo. Before entering the forest, visitors can purchase tickets at a tiny office of the Forestry Commission. These tickets can be used to access any area of the forest for any permitted activity.

Over 250 different species of animals are on show at the Accra Zoo, according to the facility. Some of these zoological animals are; tortoises, rabbits, ostriches, hyenas, warthogs, reindeer, donkeys, jackals, lions and lioness, tigers, crocodiles, snakes, and many other. Some birds species, that can be found there are; a crane, Senegal parrots, and African grey parrotsan a lot of them. Visitors can take pictures of them since they are so colourful and react to people in unique ways.
